2023 PAMS Leadership Conference 첨부파일

Writer : PAMS Program | Date : 2023.06.22 | Hit : 72

This semester was an historic one for the PAMS program. Not only because PAMS recorded its highest ever student intake of over 400 students, and its highest number of course offerings of 13, but also because on May 12-13th, Woosong University hosted the first ever PAMS Leadership Conference in Daejeon, South Korea.

While not all core members were able to attend this meeting due to a short notice period and lingering difficulties with visas due to covid restrictions, the PAMS committee in Woosong had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Malaysia (UKM) and Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia (UGM).

The official conference participants were:

UKM Professor Mohd Hasimi, Coordinator UKM-PAMS

Professor Nor Liza, Deputy Dean (Academic)

UGM Dr. Luluk Lusiantoro, Head of Global Relations and Mobility Office

Dr. Gumilang Aryo Sahdewo (Gilan), Vice Dean for Research

Ms. Shevy Margaretta, Head of Global Relations and Mobility Office

WSU Dr. Yu Taek Lee, Dean of PAMS, JCFS and Endicott College (Dean Lee)

Dr. James Danielsen, JCFS & PAMS Coordinator

Prof. Trevor Bryon, PAMS Coordinator

On the evening of the 12th members of all parties were able to meet in person for the first time, after having worked together in some cases for over two years.

Over the course of this evening, and the next day, the delegations engaged in an intense and fruitful conference where the vision and future of the PAMS program was discussed at length and in detail. The conference concluded with lunch at a picturesque mountainside Shabu Shabu restaurant on Saturday the 13th of May.

It is the hope of the PAMS committee that this is the first of many meaningful and productive leadership conferences of the PAMS program, so that we might collaboratively guide the program towards a path of success and quality educational outcomes for now and future students.
